Beverly began her career as an art student painting floral landscapes in oil and watercolor. Her natural ability to visualize and apply her technique of color, tone and texture grew into pieces of art. She had already completed education in the design and art industry, which earned her a certification as a Texas Master Floral Designer. From managing florists and owning her own store in N. Dallas, she excelled specializing in the décor of upscale homes and special community events in Plano and Dallas, Texas.
Beverly's creativity is ever growing with new ideas. She transitioned to utilizing a larger scale of solid mixed media creating inspirational art and furniture pieces. Beverly loves to bring nature inside the home. Carefully sought after pieces of reclaimed wood, pressed ceiling tin, copper, stained glass, were rescued from demolished Victorian homes. Her customers soon wanted her products in their retail stores, and they were even sold nationally through Better Homes and Gardens magazine and other trade publications. Beverly was proud to be commissioned to design for the former President George W. and Mrs. Bush. A new venture, Faithful & True Designs, utilizes mixed media of a softer nature combining vintage linens, fine tapestries, trims that are hand embroidered with scripture for special occasions.
As a Christian artist, Beverly believes all creativity is a gift from God. Her desire is to continue creating beautiful designs for all to enjoy, each reflecting the love of God. Her work is exhibited primarily at Charitable Organization events & art shows throughout Texas. Beverly resides in in a 125 year old restored home with husband, Gary, three cats, two dogs, one a Maltese, "Dolly Madison".
